TV presenter Davina McCall\u2019s fianc\u00e9, Michael Douglas, has revealed that the beloved star is now battling breast cancer, just months after she underwent life-saving brain surgery.<\/p>\n

Michael, who has stood by Davina through every challenge, described the past year as \u201cthe most terrifying time of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Watching the person you love go through this again\u2026 it\u2019s heartbreaking,\u201d he said quietly. \u201cThe last year has been nothing short of horrific for Davina.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nMichael shared that Davina found a small lump in her breast while filming The Masked Singer.
\nAt first, she thought it was nothing serious, as the lump \u201ccame and went.\u201d But one day, during filming at ITV studios, she noticed a Change and Check poster in the restroom \u2014 part of Lorraine Kelly\u2019s awareness campaign \u2014 and decided she couldn\u2019t ignore it any longer.<\/p>\n

She looked in the mirror and told me, \u2018I\u2019m going to get this checked.\u2019\u201d Michael recalled.<\/p>\n

A biopsy confirmed their worst fears \u2014 it was breast cancer. Within days, Davina underwent a lumpectomy at London\u2019s Royal Marsden Hospital.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, the cancer was caught early and hadn\u2019t spread. She will now undergo five days of radiotherapy in January, which doctors describe as a \u201cprecautionary measure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nMichael admitted that Davina was \u201cfurious\u201d when she first got the diagnosis, but her anger quickly turned into determination.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe told me, \u2018I beat a brain tumor. I can beat this too.\u2019 And I believe her \u2014 she\u2019s the strongest woman I\u2019ve ever known.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also expressed deep gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Royal Marsden, and to Davina\u2019s three children \u2014 Holly (24), Tilly (22), and Chester (19) \u2014 for their love and support during the ordeal.<\/p>\n
