Joan Collins just reminded everyone that glamour doesn\u2019t expire with age. The 92-year-old actress turned heads the moment she arrived on the Cannes red carpet on May 12, with everyone who saw her completely stunned by how timeless she looked.<\/p>\n
Joan Collins who is best known for her role as Alexis Colby on Dynasty attended the opening ceremony of the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival in a dramatic white St\u00e9phane Rolland Haute Couture gown. She kept the styling classic with black opera gloves and a diamond necklace.<\/p>\n
But while people were busy talking about her appearance, Joan has been open about the routines she says actually help her feel good as she\u2019s gotten older.<\/p>\n
\u201cI highly recommend working out with a physiotherapist for older men and women who want to stay fit. Half an hour a day is mostly what I do, and I\u2019ve found that it gives me energy,\u201d she told My Weekly.<\/p>\n
Joan explained that her fitness routine has changed over the years, especially after suffering from a trapped nerve that left her barely functioning for nearly two months. Physiotherapy helped her recover, and now she focuses on consistent movement instead of intense workouts.<\/p>\n
She\u2019s also said she believes in doing things \u201clittle and often,\u201d regularly swims, and once revealed during an appearance on BBC Radio 4 Woman\u2019s Hour, \u201cI do the splits very easily.\u201d<\/p>\n
Before adapting her routine, Joan said she used to stay active in a very different way. \u201cFrom the time I was 16, I went to discotheques, dance halls, and nightclubs and danced the night away for hours and hours,\u201d she told Platinum magazine.<\/p>\n
Alongside exercise, Joan has spoken openly about the habits she swears by when it comes to health, skincare, and aging naturally. She\u2019s repeatedly said discipline matters more than expensive treatments or cosmetic procedures.<\/p>\n
\u201cI eat an avocado every day,\u201d she told The Express, adding that she also takes supplements including Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Omega oils.<\/p>\n
At the same time, she\u2019s never believed in strict dieting. \u201cI don\u2019t stuff myself with food. I only eat half of what\u2019s on my plate, and I won\u2019t deprive myself. I\u2019ll drink wine, have dessert, eat toast and have coffee with sugar,\u201d Joan previously said.<\/p>\n
She has also shut down years of speculation surrounding cosmetic work. Writing for The Telegraph, Joan said, \u201cA lot of people think I\u2019ve had a ton of work done. To set the record straight: I have not.\u201d<\/p>\n
She later added, \u201cI haven\u2019t had Botox, I haven\u2019t had any tweakments, I haven\u2019t had fat injections.\u201d Instead, Joan credits old-school skincare habits she learned from her mother. She has said she never goes to bed without removing her makeup and applying night cream, and she\u2019s long been strict about sun protection.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have always worn sun protection and have kept my face away from harmful rays since I was 20,\u201d she once explained.<\/p>\n
Ahead of major events, she also follows a beauty trick she learned from Marilyn Monroe\u2019s makeup artist.<\/p>\n

As photos from Cannes spread online, social media quickly filled with praise for Joan\u2019s appearance and presence.<\/p>\n
