A young man shopping in a supermarket noticed a little old lady following him around. If he stopped, she stopped. Furthermore she kept staring at him.<\/p>\n
She finally overtook him at the checkout, and she turned to him and saidm, \u201cI hope I haven\u2019t made you feel ill at ease; it\u2019s just that you look so much like my late son.\u201d
\nHe answered, \u201cThat\u2019s okay.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI know it\u2019s silly, but if you\u2019d call out \u201cGood bye, Mom\u201d as I leave the store, it would make me feel so happy.\u201d
\nShe then went through the checkout and, as she was on her way out of the store, the man called out, \u201cGood-bye, Mom.\u201d
\nThe little old lady waved, and smiled back at him.<\/p>\n
Pleased that he had brought a little sunshine into someone\u2019s day, he went to pay for his groceries. \u201cThat comes to $121.85,\u201d said the clerk.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat can\u2019t be right\u2026 I only bought 5 items.\u201d<\/p>\n
The clerk replied, \u201cYeah, but your Mother said you\u2019d be paying for her things, too.\u201d<\/p>\n
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.<\/p>\n
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, \u201cWhy are some of your hairs white, Mom?\u201d<\/p>\n
Her mother replied, \u201cWell, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.\u201d<\/p>\n
The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, \u201cMomma, how come ALL of grandma\u2019s hairs are white?\u201d<\/p>\n
