{"id":15569,"date":"2026-09-21T04:59:01","date_gmt":"2026-09-21T04:59:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/humorssite.com\/?p=15569"},"modified":"2026-09-21T04:59:01","modified_gmt":"2026-09-21T04:59:01","slug":"the-awkward-checkout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/humorssite.com\/?p=15569","title":{"rendered":"The Awkward Checkout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One evening, a teenage girl and her mother went shopping together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After choosing a few items, they walked over to the checkout counter.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The girl looked at the cashier and quietly said, \u201cHi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then she opened her wallet and began searching for the correct amount of money.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She carefully counted the bills, stopped, started again, and then struggled with the coins.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was obvious that she was nervous and having trouble working out exactly how much she needed to pay.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cashier said nothing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of helping, she simply stood there and watched as the girl fumbled through the money, muttered numbers under her breath, and repeatedly checked the total.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After an awkward few minutes, the teenager finally managed to count out the correct amount.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cashier completed the transaction, handed her the receipt, and the girl quickly walked away with her mother.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As they headed toward the car, the mother noticed how embarrassed her daughter looked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before she could ask what was wrong, the teenager sighed and said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat was my math tutor.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One evening, a teenage girl and her mother went shopping together.
