{"id":15613,"date":"2026-09-23T06:11:07","date_gmt":"2026-09-23T06:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/humorssite.com\/?p=15613"},"modified":"2026-09-23T06:11:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-23T06:11:07","slug":"the-loan-application","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/humorssite.com\/?p=15613","title":{"rendered":"The Loan Application"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A farmer walked into the local bank one morning with his dog following closely behind him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He needed a loan to repair his tractor, replace part of a fence and hopefully survive another season without having to sell half the farm.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After waiting nearly an hour, he was finally called into the loan officer\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The officer studied his paperwork, tapped a few numbers into the computer and frowned.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m sorry,\u201d she said. \u201cBased on your income and current debts, we can\u2019t approve the loan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The farmer sighed.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before he could respond, his dog suddenly lunged forward and bit the loan officer on the leg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHEY!\u201d she shouted, jumping out of her chair.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The farmer quickly pulled the dog back and apologized.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But before anyone could calm down, the dog turned around, spotted a customer standing nearby and bit him too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now everyone in the bank was staring.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The customer yelled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The loan officer grabbed her leg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The farmer looked completely embarrassed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a moment, the loan officer turned angrily toward him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI understand why your dog bit me.
