She simply walked on, though it was clear she hadn\u2019t forgotten about the boots.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later that night, they were lying in bed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The room was quiet, and the wife was just starting to fall asleep when her husband moved closer and gently placed his hand on her hip.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then his hand slowly moved lower, resting on her thigh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wife opened one eye, turned toward him, and gave him a look.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI don\u2019t think so, mate,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her husband froze.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She pulled the blanket up, rolled away, and added:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf you\u2019re not prepared to shoe the horse, then you sure as hell ain\u2019t riding it!\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A woman went shopping one afternoon with her husband.
