Until I observed something weird glinting on my windshield, that morning started off just like any other morning you could imagine.<\/p>\n
Dozens of smeared, little prints were scattered across the glass; they were faint but undeniable. Not only were they not scratches, but they were also not from bird droppings.<\/p>\n
It appeared as though someone or something had climbed across the surface throughout the night, as the pattern was too purposeful. This caused my heart rate to accelerate as I moved closer.<\/p>\n
It was a raccoon, right? Is it a stray cat? To make matters even worse, what was it that had gotten beneath the hood? Whenever I explored further, the mystery became much more perplexing.<\/p>\n
A few photographs were taken by me, and I uploaded them to the internet in the hope that someone had seen them previously.<\/p>\n
Within a matter of minutes, a rush of guesses came in: \u201cRaccoon!\u201d The word \u201cPossum!\u201d It\u2019s a condensation! After that, a friend made a simple remark, which was, \u201cTree frogs.<\/p>\n
\u201d That is, until I understood that he was being serious. I laughed out loud. In his explanation, he stated that these small amphibians,<\/p>\n
which are attracted to warmth and moisture, frequently investigate smooth surfaces during the night.<\/p>\n
They are able to cling to windows, mirrors, and hoods with exceptional ease thanks to the suction cups that are on their little toes.<\/p>\n
For each of those faint, looping markings, there was a signature left behind by an inquisitive traveler who was out at night.<\/p>\n
The pattern made perfect sense when I looked at it more closely; it consisted of delicate trails of moisture that looped around in arcs, each of which was curved like the gentle outline of a frog\u2019s ascent.<\/p>\n
There was no evidence that they had scratched or otherwise harmed the glass; rather, they had merely left behind remnants of their midnight trip.<\/p>\n
I was aware of my tension dissipating into amusement. I had uncovered a hidden world that had been taking place right outside my house, which turned out to be a beneficial discovery.<\/p>\n
The way I perceive those minuscule prints has changed. I give them a gentle washing, park a bit further away from the trees, and have a grin on my face whenever I see additional trees.<\/p>\n
The fact that even the tiniest of creatures share our environment and that nature has its own gentle sense of humor is brought to our attention by these innocent reminders<\/p>\n
