SAN ANTONIO – We’re getting a closer look at some of the people arrested at a massive immigration raid early Sunday morning at a nightclub on the North Side.
The Department of Homeland Security says 27 members of the Tren de Aragua gang were arrested. They also seized cocaine, three firearms, and approximately $35,000 in cash during the operation.

The raid, conducted by a newly formed Homeland Security Task Force, involved the FBI and HSI San Antonio and took place around 3 a.m. Sunday at a car lot near San Pedro Avenue and Basse Road.
Federal agents executed a search warrant at the after-hours club, and two individuals are currently under investigation for human smuggling and money laundering.

The agency released photos of what they described as some of the worst offenders arrested in the raid.

Additionally, two men detained during the operation, Marcos Joel Contreras-Max and Edwin Javier Chinchilla-Lopez, both Honduran nationals, appeared in federal court today.
