An old woman passed away at the age of 90, having never married.
Before she died, she gave one final message to her relatives.
She asked that these words be written on her tombstone:
“Born a virgin…
Lived a virgin…
Died still a virgin…”
The family was confused!
If they didn’t write it, they would feel guilty. If they did write it, they would feel embarrassed.
Finally, the family decided to write on her tombstone:
“Returned to God… still in original condition, seal unbroken.”
