One evening, a woman who enjoyed a drink or two was wandering down the street when she spotted a cozy little bar.
Feeling thirsty, she decided to stop in for a drink.
But just as she reached the entrance, she noticed a large sign on the door:
“FOR MEN ONLY.”
She shrugged, pushed the door open, and walked straight inside.
The place went quiet for a moment as several men turned to look at her.
The bartender raised his eyebrows as she approached the counter.
“Excuse me, ma’am,” he said politely, “but did you happen to see the sign outside?”
The woman smiled.
“Of course I did!”
The bartender shook his head.
“Well, I’m sorry, but we have a strict policy here.”
He pointed toward the door and explained,
“I’m sorry, ma’am,” says the bartender. “We only serve men in this place.”
“That’s OK, “she says, “I’ll take one of them.”
